Two Exciting Announcements
Hey friends,
I'm excited to share with you two new updates:
First, I've decided to move my blog to Substack. For those who are unfamiliar, Substack is a platform that empowers writers to create and distribute content with ease. I believe this move will give me more flexibility and control as a writer, and provide a better experience for those of you who follow my work. Over time I’ll move some of the work I've done on this blog to Substack, but I’ll have more frequently updated work available there. Point of note though, toddkorpi.com isn’t going anywhere––just the blog portion. And you’ll still be able to access my Substack through toddkorpi.com.
Second, and a big reason for the move to Substack––last month I signed a literary agent agreement with Keely Boeving, who is a senior agent at WordServe Literary Agency. Keely has already been enormously helpful in helping me navigate the complexities of the publishing landscape as I not only get the word out about Your Daughters Shall Prophesy, but also plan my next book projects that I’m cooking up.
One of the biggest advantages of Substack also happens to address one of my biggest needs at the moment: expanding a subscriber base.
So what does this mean?
A healthy email subscriber base is a significant advantage for authors as they submit book proposals to prospective publishers. It demonstrates that there is already existing support for their work not simply their personality (as with a social media following).
So this is my ask to you! Will you please hit the link and subscribe to my new Substack account to receive updates and show support for my work?
For those who subscribe to my Substack during the month of June, I will be randomly selecting 10 people to send a free copy of Your Daughters Shall Prophesy!
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and encouragement throughout my writing journey. Your feedback and engagement have been invaluable to me, and I'm excited to take this next step with you all.
If you've been following my blog via email or RSS on this site, you’ve already been migrated over to the new flow, so you won’t have to do a thing.
Blessings,
Todd
